Burn Ban in Effect

04/17/2026: Loris Fire Chief Jerry Hardee has placed the corporate limits of the City of Loris under a burn ban effective immediately. This ban follows the statewide burn ban issued by the South Carolina Forestry Commission, which restricts all outdoor burning.
