REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The City of Loris is seeking proposals for the purchase of a Knuckleboom Loader/Debris Truck.  Interested parties should submit sealed proposals to the following address no later than 4:00 p.m. on April 22, 2026:

Proposals must be submitted by one of the following methods: commercial overnight delivery service, United States Postal Service, or hand delivery.  (No emails or other electronic submittals.)

More than one proposal may be included in the submittal, up to a maximum of three.  Proposals will be evaluated on the following factors, but other information may be included at the discretion of the submitter:

• Price
• New or Used
• Length of Telescopic Boom
• Capacity of Collection Bin
• Warranties on Structural/Hydraulics/Electronics/Other
• Service Locations
• Standard Features
• Optional Features (and Pricing)

Proposals will be evaluated by the City Administrator, and the submittal which is in the best interests of the City of Loris will be recommended to City Council for approval.  All decisions will be final.  The City’s choice may be not to purchase a Loader/Debris Truck at this time.
